Wildcat Juniors Beach Volleyball Clinics

Every Summer Olympics, the sport that is watched the most, both locally and on tv, is Beach Volleyball. Beach Volleyball is popular because it includes so many attributes of great athletics: power, finesse, endurance, agility, and precision. Beach volleyball has exploded in popularity and availability in the US, especially for juniors beach volleyball. That’s why it is more important than ever for young athletes to receive instruction on how to play the game, learn its fundamentals and strategy, and compete in tournaments!

We will be offering five 90-minute training sessions at Foster Avenue Beach, once a week on either Saturday or Sunday. Each training session will teach players the rules of the game, run drills to train fundamental skills, and learn basic strategy by competing in match play.

At any point during the summer, players are invited to enter tournaments on their own and compete. A list of tournaments will be provided that players can use to sign up and register on their own. Coaches will come out to assist when available, but it is not required for coaches to attend.

  • Saturday, July 1st, 9-10:30AM
  • Sunday, July 16th, 9-10:30AM
  • Sunday, July 23rd, 9-10:30AM
  • Sunday, July 30th, 9-10:30AM
  • Sunday, August 6th, 9-10:30AM

Each session costs $40 per player. You can sign up for all sessions at once, or individually. There is no obligation to attend a certain number of sessions; come to as few or as many sessions as you’d like! Players are STRONGLY encouraged to attend sessions with a partner to practice and train with together, but not required. For those players new to Wildcat Jrs, you will need to have a parent/guardian attend your first session to sign a waiver.
